Welcome to the Education Library

This guide is a support for researchers in Aboriginal and world Indigenous education studies. It offers a starting point to learn more about basic education concepts, tips for finding scholarly articles using Google Scholar and education databases, and provides a list of applicable journals.

We look forward to supporting your learning.

Personal Librarian Program

The Personal Librarian Program provides individual academic support to WISE students by matching each student to one of the two Education librarians, who work closely with Faculty to ensure we have the collections and services required to provide you with the resources you need to complete your work. We also provide timely advice on borrowing, working to timelines, and citation. We look forward to getting to know your research topics and suggesting paths for exploration.

Book Delivery:  WISE students requiring Queen's book materials should contact their personal librarian to arrange delivery of materials by Canada Post. Use your Queen's email and include your name and student number in your request. We will send the books to the address we have on file in your library account unless you ask otherwise.  The loan period for most materials is our term loan, with all materials subject to recall after 2 weeks if requested by another library user. We will include a paid return label with the package.
