Attribution Best Practices

As you find Creative Commons (CC) licensed materials which you wish to integrate into your own teaching, research and scholarship, it is important to provide appropriate attribution to the creator(s) of the CC work you are using.  You should include the following information when attributing others CC licensed materials:

 

  • The name of the author / creator;
  • The title of the work;
  • The URL where the work is hosted;
  • Indicate the type of licence it is available under and provide a link to the licence (so others can find out the licence terms).
