SciFinder-n® covers 10,000+ current and historical journals, patents from 64 patent issuing authorities, and MEDLINE, the biomedical literature database. As of 2016, it contained more than 16 million records; 800,000+ records are added each year. Inspec currently indexes more than 4,000 journals, 14,000 book series, 70,000 conferences and thousands of dissertations, reports, patents, and videos. Records are indexed using terms from the Inspec Thesaurus.
