The International Academy of Nursing Editors produces a white list of Nursing journals that meet their standards for publication. Their stated goal is "to help nurse authors find a suitable and reputable journal in which to publish their work".
JCR summarizes citations from more than 10,000 journals and proceedings in the sciences and social sciences indexed in the Web of Science database. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals.
JCR includes features such as Impact Factors; five-year Eigenfactor metrics; Journal 'Self Citations'; graphic displays of Impact Factor 'Box Plots'; and Rank-in-Category tables for journals covering multiple disciplines.
Updated annually, in the summer following the year of coverage.
