Introduction

Welcome to the POLS-410 library course guide.

The learning outcomes of this guide are as follows:

  • develop an ability to refine search results in Omni, the library's search tool, and Proquest Politics;
  • recognizes the difference between various sources, and chooses the source most appropriate for the research question and discipline; and
  • understand the value of critically appraising information as a crucial component of the research process
