Correctional Services Canada publishes research in a number of areas:

  • Correctional operations
  • Community corrections
  • Correctional programs and interventions
  • Health and mental health
  • Substance abuse
  • Profiles and forecasting of people who are incarcerated
  • Women who are incarcerated

As part of the Jahn Settlement, the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services has posted a series of point-in-time reviews that include incarcerated people in segregation who have possible mental health conditions.

There are also Correctional Services Tables (Statistics Canada) related to Adult correctional services; Youth custody and community services; and Admissions and releases for correctional services.
