Reference (or citation) management software allows you to import references/citations from online databases, organize them into folders, insert them into the body of your research paper in a variety of citation style formats (e.g. APA and MLA), and generate formatted reference lists. 

The University Library offers help and instruction on some reference managers. Feel free to contact the library for help

• EndNote and EndNote basic: Queen's Unverisity has an institutional licence. Go to the software centre to download a copy to use.  

• Overleaf (LaTex): Overleaf is an online collaborative scientific writing and publishing tool.  Using LaTex or Rich Text editing, Overleaf makes the process of writing, editing, and producing scientific papers efficient, providing support and templates for text, layout, graphics, and formula. Queen's has a licence to Overleaf:
