In February, ACS announced that Professor Cathleen Crudden is the new editor-in-chief of ACS Catalysis. Congratulations, Dr. Crudden!
CHEMRXIV
Since its launch in 2017, ChemRxiv, the world's premier chemistry preprint server, has received more than 8,000 preprints and supplied over 4 million downloads. In February, the five chemical societies that operate ChemRxiv partnered with Cambridge University Press to host the server on CUP's Open Engage Platform.
NEW ACS WRITING COURSE
ACS has recently launched ACS Author Lab, a new online course "designed to help authors prepare and submit high-quality manuscripts". The course consists of 7 interactive modules which altogether take about 2 hours to complete. Access to the course is provided through the Library's subscription to the ACS Guide to Scholarly Communication (2020). The course compliments the previously released ACS Author University and ACS Reviewer Lab.
