About this Guide

This guide is designed to help the Canadian Journal of Commercial Arbitration student volunteer editors to locate sources and verify citations.

This guide is organized into secions that reflect the major types of sources that are referenced in the field of international commercial arbitration law: (1) Treaties & Arbitral Rules, (2) National Laws, (3) Arbitration Awards & Decisions, and (4) Commentary.

Each section of the guide points to key finding tools available through Queen's Library and the world wide web, and provides guidance on legal citation.

Please note that this guide is only an introduction to finding and citing international commercial arbitration materials. If you are still stumped after consulting this guide, don't hesitate to reach out to a law librarian at weblaw@queensu.ca for help!
