FRST 290 / FREN 392: Paris through Literature, Painting, Cinema & Photography

This guide is to help guide students with library and web resources for FREN 392: Paris through Literature, Painting, Cinema & Photography (formerly FRST 290 (formerly IDIS 290))

Advanced search in Google Scholar

Google Scholar is Google's scholarly search engine and enables you to locate articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles published on the "open" web.

Access Google Scholar from the Library's website and you will be prompted to enter your NetID and password, which then activates your access to subscriptions held by Queen's University Library.

Please note: The same search techniques that work in Omni and the library's other indexes and databases, namely the Boolean operators AND, OR, NOT, and also quotation marks around phrases, apply to Google Scholar.
