The Queen's Papers in Pure and Applied Mathematics was a series of occasional papers published by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from 1965 through 2005. The Engineering and Science Library holds copies of most volumes (call number QA3 Q38). The Queen's University Archives holds copies of volumes 1-87.
The series was established in 1965 by Professor A. John Coleman, Head of the Department of Mathematics from 1960-1980. It was edited by Prof. Coleman and Prof. Paulo Rubenboim. The types of works published in the series included textbooks, master's theses, conference proceedings, and collected works. The Campus Bookstore handled sales and distribution and returned proceeds to the department. Individual volumes ranged in price from $2 to $20.
