Go to QSpace and click on “Log in with Queen’s Account.” In top left, click on the plus sign, i.e. “ +” to submit “New Item.”
At the top of the list which appears on the page, type keywords to find your faculty collection. For example, for the Department of Biology Faculty Publications collection, type "Biology" and "Faculty." Click on the collection name in the list, and the deposit form will appear.
Supply information to describe your publication in the provided fields. Include all contributor names, and the publication’s DOI if applicable.
Include an abstract or short description of the publication.
Provide Tri-agency funding information as requested. Note: If you have multiple funders you must enter them one at a time, i.e. for each grant complete all 5 fields pertaining to that grant on the form BEFORE proceeding with the next grant. This will ensure that your grant information is grouped correctly.

Publications submitted to QSpace are Open Access meaning that they are accessible to anyone with web access. If you a have a requirement to temporarily restrict access to your publication, please let us know by emailing us at qspace@queensu.ca.
Depending on publishers' requirements, you may have the option to select a Creative Commons License. If you have questions, please contact us at qspace@queensu.ca.
To complete the submission you must agree to the QSpace Non-Exclusive Deposit License Agreement at the end of the submission form. You can read the full Terms of the license and additional information about it on page 4 of this guide: QSpace Non-Exclusive Deposit License Agreement
When your form is complete, click on the "+Deposit" button at bottom right. Your submission is now pending approval to QSpace. Once approved, you can track its impact by searching for your work in QSpace and selecting 'View Statistics'.
