Zotero: A Beginner's Guide

Setting your preferences can help your workflow for Zotero 5.0; make sure you register for username and password in order to Sync your collection

Preference Settings

  1. Set up a free Zotero account
  2. Register for a free account (Username and Password) on the site. (This is Zotero account and you can use any email address to register)

  

To Sync your library between your browser and the standalone client you need to add the Zotero username and password in the Zotero preferences by selecting Edit--> Preferences as shown here:

Select the Sync tab and enter Username and Password
