LibGuides 2 Guidelines at QUL

Please do not use LibGuides for the following types of content:

• Librarian/Staff Profiles
  Every QUL staff member has opportunity to publish a profile in the main website (as part of the Staff Directory)
• Events
  The main website features several ways to promote Library events.

Please do not use any of the following features:

• Custom CSS/JS
  We have a graphic style that will apply to both LibGuides and Library website. We worked with a graphic designer to come up with this.
• e-Reserves
  We use Ares for this.
• Database A-Z
  We have our own Databases A-Z in main website.
• Blogs
  The main website has News & Events functionality which should be used instead.
