Indigenous Languages Revitalization

Resources to assist in Indigenous Language Learning, particularly for languages in close proximity to Queen's and/or taught at Queen's.

Getting Started

Because finding Indigenous language materials can be a bit tricky, you may wish to save your work. Omni allows you to revisit your search history, and save particular resources you find.

To do either of these things, you must first log-in to your library account. You will see the option to "save" items even if you're not signed in, but it will redirect you to log-in if you have not done so already.

If you're a community member, you will need to sign in with your library card. Queen's Students can sign in using their NetID.

Saving your searches

Begin by creating an effective search (this may take some trial and error). In this example, a person is looking for Dene language materials. The "Save Query" button is highlighted below.

You can further narrow your search by clicking personalize: this will allow you to indicate which disciplines you're interested in,

Clicking the push-pin icon next to individual holdings allows you to save them.
