Find a Curriculum Resource

1. SEARCH Omni & limit by location


Select the Resource Type Books & eBooks.



On the left sidebar, limit your results to a particular Queen's Location depending on the type of item you want to find (for example, Children's & Young Adult Books).


Click Apply Filters.

Resort by Date Newest to find recent titles.

2. Search Tumble Book Library

A collection of online animated children's picture books and chapter books. You will find many popular titles here, including books by Canadian authors Monique Gray Smith, Nadia Hohn, and Christy Jordan Fenton. Click here for access.

3. Browse the Social Justice Books site

A "Teaching for Change" project that includes curated booklists on 60 topics.

4. Join your public library to search NoveList

Teachers search NoveList to identify fiction on a theme, so you can find a curriculum resource here that is fiction or an information book. Then check Omni to see if the item is available at Queen's.  Best if you want picture books.

7. Search the CCBC Recommended Books

CCBC is the Cooperative Children's Book Center at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The search includes a Diversity Subject filter. 

8. Search Diverse BookFinder

A catalogue of picture books published in the U.S. since 2002.

9. Browse Mirrors Windows Doors
