Queen's University Librarians are here to help you access resources to successfully complete your research. Just email our library account and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible.
To conduct your research from off-campus you need to log in by clicking on the "Off-Campus Access" icon at the top of the library page (https://library.queensu.ca) which is the gateway to full-text library content:
OMNI
It is important when searching Omni, the library search platform, not to log in to Omni as that link is meant for managing library borrowing accounts. Simply conduct your search in Omni, select the result of interest and click the access link in that record which will take you to the resource. Provide your NetID if prompted. For example, when you search for this Music education title you will click Oxford Scholarship Online to get to the book.
Music education for children with autism spectrum disorder : a resource for teachers':
In the example above, the Oxford Scholarship Online link will take you to the full-text eBook without needing to log in to an Omni account. You may however be prompted for your NetID if you have not logged in to the Off-Campus access beforehand.
Education Source is the primary database in Education studies. Click on the left tab called "How to Search for Articles on a topic" for more detailed instructions.
