How to Search for eBooks in Omni
If you are using Queen's resources from off-campus be sure to login to authenticate yourself as a Queen's community member, and then you will have access to our resources.
Use our Omni search platform to find a known title (Please do NOT log in to Omni)
Once you have authenticated yourself as a Queen's student, you will have full access to the online text, where you can read individual chapter PDFs or download the entire book.
Go to the Connect from Off-Campus login screen and enter your Queen's NetID and Password *
Beginning at the Library homepage select the Advanced Search option of Omni: (do not login to Omni)
The Advanced Search screen allows you to limit your results to eBooks. After entering my search terms:
To filter all physical books from your search you can limit to only eBooks using the Active Filters option below the search box on the left.
You can see this title is Available Online and across from the title you have functions such as
*The key thing to remember is that, once you are logged in, you can only follow links. Once you open a new browser window or enter a new URL directly into your browser address box, you will be taken out of the connected environment.
