Films on Demand
Includes content from A&E, BBC, Films for the Humanities & Sciences, PBS, National Geographic, TED, HBO Documentary Films, and numerous other educational film providers. Create a free account to organize and bookmark clips, create and share playlists, personalize folders, and embed clips. Closed captioning and transcripts available on many titles.
Kanopy
Critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, independent and foreign films, classic cinema, and educational "how to" videos. Videos enabled with closed captions and transcripts. Instructions to view Kanopy videos on iOS devices and Android phones and tablets.
The Library leases films on the Kanopy platform at the request of instructors. Licenses range from one to three years and are listed in Omni. Other films on Kanopy can be viewed using free monthly ‘tickets’ via the Kingston Frontenac Public Library with a free KFPL card.
