Standards and Codes

What is ISO?

Founded in 1946, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization of about 164 national standards bodies. ISO has published more than 22,000 standards and related documents in every industry and technology.

ISO Standards

The Library does not subscribe to ISO standards. However, you can find ISO equivalents in the CSA Digital Library and IEEE Xplore databases.

The Library occasionally purchases ISO standards in print. You can use Omni to check whether the Library owns a specific ISO standard.
