Academic integrity is easier to explain, as it’s specific to Queen’s University. Alternatively, research integrity is based on ethical policies and principles overseen by Queen’s, as well as funders and publishers, etc.
Queen’s researchers and students performing any type of research involving humans (including data about or from humans) need to follow the TCPS2 and apply for ethics approval.
As per the Queen’s Senate Policy on Integrity in Research, researchers and students must (among other things) follow the authorship policies of publications, properly attribute the contribution of others to the research, and accurately reference the use of all published and unpublished work.
