CAN-Core Academic Video is a Canadian streaming video platform with over 6,000 titles in a wide range of subject areas, including a large collection of documentary and feature films by Indigenous filmmakers.

On-Core 

ON-Core are core curriculum content platforms created by McIntyre Media Inc. for use in Canadian schools. Content can be accessed by subject, grade, course and strand.

Films on Demand

This collection includes professional learning videos for teachers AND video on a broad range of topics for use in classrooms, elementary to secondary.

Curio.ca (CBC and Radio-Canada)

Documentaries from television and radio, news reports, archival material, stock shots and more. Thousands of programs and resources can be accessed here. Includes English and French.

National Film Board (NFB) 

Over 1000 NFB films are free to all Canadians.  Queen’s Library also has a additional account giving access to 3,000 films for classrooms. Make your own account, search by grade and subject, access downloadable teaching materials, and create playlists and chapters.  Also check the NFB teaching guides
