This guide is meant to assist you in implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action in the classroom.

Literature

Rather than using books by non-Indigenous authors to explain colonization, consider using books by Indigenous authors. Unlike books written by non-Indigenous people, these books present Indigenous Peoples as dynamic and capable of resistance rather than complicit in their own dispossession.
