Getting to know Turtle Island: Incorporating First Nation, MeĢtis and Inuit perspectives K-8. 2011. This book was written by the Limestone District School Board under the leadership of Kevin Reed, Indigenous Consultant to the LDSB, with a team of K-8 teachers. It is an integrated Indigenous curriculum and includes provincial learning expectations, suggested teaching strategies, resources (some websites and other print materials), and summative tasks. Freely available to anyone in the world.
