Library Resources for Remote Instruction

Queen's Library offers support for the transition to remote instruction including suggestions for open educational resources, streamed video, e-book orders, copyright, and accessibility guidelines.

Subject Librarians & Online Help

Queen's Subject Librarians keep abreast of the latest information tools and document this information in their discipline-specific library and course guides. Please email your departmental librarian for help with:

  • library research guides for your course
  • research support and library instruction for students within your course
  • databases and articles to support research projects
  • e-books, online academic encyclopedias, dictionaries, and handbooks
  • multimedia (images, photographs, theatre performances, music, audio, video-streaming)
  • government documents, data sets including geospatial data, and maps
  • primary sources (e.g. digitized Early English books 1450-1700, Canadiana)
  • newspapers (current and historic from around the world)
  • open educational resources and open access materials
