This kit focuses on everyday uses of energy and their sources. Students will be provided with the basic definition of energy. Food will be identified as a source of energy for living things, and students will trace the source of that energy back to the Sun, which is the Earth's primary source of energy. Materials are provided for five activities.
These sequential lessons include a brief summary of each day's lesson as well as any sheets, posters, and videos needed to teach it.
These lessons will help students understand energy consumption and the role that the sun plays in our lives.
