Grade 4: Understanding Matter & Energy
Light and Sound Science Kit.
Call Number: TBD
Covers the following:
Strand A: STEM Skills and Connections
Strand C: Light and Sound
Using various materials, the properties of both light and sound will be explored. Students investigate how light can be emitted, absorbed, reflected, and refracted, and that there are both natural and artificial sources of light. Activities from this kit will also showcase how sound travels in waves through mediums, and the different ways objects interact with and even use properties from light and sound. This kit provides materials for four activities.

"A short and concise video that explains transparency, translucency, opaqueness as well as refraction."
"Bending light to your will! Phil gets challenged to use light to solve a puzzle that gets more and more difficult."
